Weight loss programs seem to be the new trend among all actors and actresses. It has not spared even our voluptuous beauty Namitha.
Namitha was on headlines prior to this one as the Nadigar Sangam recently issued a show-cause notice to actress Namitha for skipping a promotional event of her film ‘Azhagana Ponnuthan’. But her absence seems to be sensible now…
According to sources, she has slimmed down considerably these days. She seems to have shocked many who have seen her with her new looks. Sources reveal that she looks even hotter and is similar to her looks when she made her debut. Well, now we should say Namitha slims down to melt us down!
Currently Namitha is said to have wrapped up the shooting for 'Jaganmohini'. “When we decided to remake ‘Jaganmohini’, Namitha was the name that popped up in our mind immediately. She combines glamour with performance. She is the USP of the film,” says the movie’s director N K Viswanathan.
Who knows? ‘Jaganmohini’ might be the last film in which we see Namitha as a chubby beauty…
Kavya Madhavan is coming back to films with the movie, Maadan Kolli.
The actress, who recently made headlines for her troubled marriage, will be playing an IPS officer probing into some deaths, which happen due to a vampire at night and it is responsible for the same deaths.
Prithviraj will also be seen playing a vampire. Let’s see how well the audience takes to these roles.
The model turned malayalam actress Roma Ansrani is the new sensation of Malluwood. Roma Asrani is basically from North India, but settled in Chennai. Around three years back she started appearing in advertisements.
She then acted Priyadarshan movie 'Notebook' and that turned to be a big hit in Kerala. Her father Murlidhar runs a wholesale Jewellery Shop in Chennai and mother Madhu is helping him in his business.
Recently the rule for heroines was like this: Act in a few Malayalam movies when you are in school, and by the time you reach college you find that you get peanuts for salary and the best offer you can get is as the inconsequential heroine of Prithviraj or Dileep. Then you jump to Tamil movies and if possible to Telugu. Then once in a while, when Mahabali visits Kerala for Onam, tag along with him and act in a few movies so that your parents and friends don’t forget you. Gopika and Bhavana are examples of this.
